New Posting: Customer Service Specialist Posted Date: January 12, 2012 Posting Closed: January 26, 2012 Brief Description of Role: The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for addressing the needs of internal and external customers via incoming calls, fax, e-mail or online requests for information about commercial loan or lease accounts. Such requests would include payoff calculations, telephone or online payments, as well as securing and maintaining adequate proof of insurance per the customer's contract requirements. The Customer Service Specialist reports to the Customer Service Manager. Key Accountabilities for this Role: - Provide requested account information, answer general customer service questions and resolve account issues on accounts not related to collection or legal activity in accordance with DFS policies and procedures. - Provide payoff calculation information, credit references, enter telephone and/or online payments in a timely and accurate fashion in accordance with DFS policies and procedures. - Secure and maintain adequate proof of physical damage insurance for financed equipment and proof of liability coverage on designated leases in accordance with DFS policies and procedures. - Provide accurate and reliable reporting to the Customer Service Manager. - Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. - Understand and adhere to all company policy, laws, and regulations applicable to role. Other Qualifications: Customer Service, Ag or insurance-related background a plus.
